Wow, just look at these colors! … Marling Autumn
When autumn arrives in South Tyrol, a very special season begins in our little land. With so much nature around, the forests burst into a riot of colors in the fall. And when the golden sun shines from a brilliant blue sky, it simply warms the heart.
Autumn Traditions and Tours … an absolute must-experience!
One thing makes our homeland truly unique in autumn: Törggelen! Now it’s time for the traditional Keschtnbrotn—roasting chestnuts over an open fire and eating them hot until all your fingers are coal black! Sweet wine and Krapfen (fried pastries) complete the feast, but not before a hearty Schlachtplatte fills your stomach with sausages, sauerkraut, and dumplings.
At Bründlerhof, we also roast chestnuts with our guests in the courtyard, spending cheerful hours together. A bit of movement in between does wonders—how about a relaxing walk along a Waalweg (ancient irrigation channel path) or a more challenging mountain hike? Even in autumn, these are fantastic options!
